- Visual Language and Visual Communication
The relationship between images and color of all the forms of non-verbal communication, color is the most instantaneous method of conveying messages and meanings.
第5週
3/22  “Understanding and using the color wheel helps you choose a harmonious palette.”
The color wheel helps you visualize the relationships that colors have to one another.
第6週
3/29  Deciding to use analogous or contrasting colors affects the visual energy and mood of any composition.
第7週
4/05  Analogous
Color schemes built from hues that sit near to each other on the color wheel (analogous colors) have minimal chromatic differences.

第9週
4/19  Mid term Grade
第10週
4/26  Monochromatic
Using variations of the same color
can create a striking palette, but it’s difficult to use color effectively without adding black, white, and shades of gray for contrast. Select colors with a broad range of tints and shades to provide enough contrast.
第11週
5/03  Split Complementary
This variation of the complementary scheme uses two colors on either side of a directly complementary color. These colors have high visual contrast but with less visual tension than purely complementary colors.
第12週
5/10  Triadic
Three colors equally spaced around the color wheel create vivid visual interest. Some of the palettes are bold while others are more refined. You can modify this method by using a light tint or dark shade of one of the three colors instead of the pure hue.
第13週
5/17  How to decide What colors to use in your design
第14週
5/24  You’ll need a color palette with primary, secondary, and accent colors. Your color palette is another tool to help people “read” the DESIGN
第15週
5/31  “Color helps identify what’s related by leading the brain to group elements of the same color.
It also helps us know what’s more important, drawing the eye to key elements if they’re colored in a warm, saturated hue, and helping others recede into the background.”
第16週
6/07  Colors around the world
第17週
6/14  Trouble shooting/ final project
